2024 Nevada Preps All-Southern Nevada Girls Volleyball Team: Meet the Players
The 2024 Nevada Preps All-Southern Nevada Girls Volleyball Team has been announced, highlighting the standout players of the season. Let’s take a closer look at the exceptional athletes who have made a mark in the world of high school volleyball.
First Team
Leading the pack is Taylor Anderson from Durango, who secured the title of first-team All-4A selection with an impressive stat line of 331 kills, 222 digs, 57 aces, and 44 blocks for the state champions. Joining her is Julie Beckham from Coronado, who boasted 391 kills, 166 digs, 56 aces, and a .303 hitting percentage for the 5A state runners-up.
Angelina Guerrero, also from Durango, stood out as the 4A Lake League and state player of the year, ranking fifth in the state with 453 kills and fourth with a .419 hitting percentage for the state champions. Gentry Oblad and Rachel Purser from Coronado, along with Rachel Schwartz from the same team, showcased their skills with impressive performances throughout the season.
Second Team
Miy’Aja Diggs from Legacy, Aracelli Hernandez from Durango, Leah Hernandez from Faith Lutheran, Luna Ingaramo from Tech, and Piper Kennedy from The Meadows are among the talented players who made it to the second team, displaying their dedication and skill on the court.
Honorable Mention
A slew of other players received honorable mentions for their outstanding contributions to the sport, demonstrating the depth of talent in the Southern Nevada volleyball scene.
