The 2024 National Finals Rodeo at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas saw an action-packed third round on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024. Here are the top performers and standings from the thrilling event.
Bareback Riding
In the Bareback Riding category, Jess Pope stole the show with an impressive 89.5 points on Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Night Faded, earning him $33,687. Cooper Cooke followed closely behind with a score of 88, taking home $26,624. Cole Franks rounded out the top three with 87 points and $20,104 in winnings.

2. Keenan Hayes – 255.5 points
3. Jess Pope – 252.5 points

Steer Wrestling
Will Lummus dominated the Steer Wrestling category with a lightning-fast time of 3.5 seconds, securing him $33,687. Tucker Allen and Tyler Pearson followed closely with times of 3.8 and 4.2 seconds, respectively.
