In football, Khy Harris from Centennial had an impressive game with 178 yards and four touchdowns, leading his team to a 36-28 victory over Las Vegas. Romero Lujan from Western also had a strong showing, rushing for 212 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-7 win against Rancho. Thaddeus Thatcher from Arbor View completed 15 of 22 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns in a close 31-28 win over Liberty. De’shaun Tolever of Clark made an impact with a 50-yard touchdown reception and an interception return for a score in a 42-6 win over Sunrise Mountain. AJ Williams from Mojave contributed to his team’s 32-21 win over Losee with two touchdown passes and a touchdown catch.
In other football games, Arbor View defeated Liberty 31-28, Bishop Gorman dominated Desert Pines with a 61-0 victory, and Canyon Springs had a big win over Valley with a score of 54-6. Chaparral pulled off a 14-7 win against Spring Valley, and Cimarron-Memorial beat Cheyenne 21-6. Coronado defeated Foothill 29-15, and Desert Oasis won 35-6 against Durango. Faith Lutheran had a strong showing with a 55-15 win over Palo Verde, while Green Valley defeated Silverado 35-14. Laughlin secured a 40-14 victory over Beaver Dam, and Moapa Valley won 27-7 against Virgin Valley. In boys tennis, The Meadows won 14-4 against Reno in the Class 4A state semifinals, while Spanish Springs defeated Foothill 10-8. In the Class 3A state semifinals, Boulder City won 10-2 against Truckee, and South Tahoe secured an 11-2 victory over Pahrump Valley. In girls tennis, Spanish Springs won 13-5 against Doral Academy in the Class 4A state semifinals, and Bishop Manogue defeated The Meadows 10-8. In the Class 3A state semifinals, Truckee won 13-2 against Cimarron-Memorial, and Boulder City emerged victorious with a 10-2 win over North Valleys.
