Frankie Sidoris, a Vegas-born rocker, has successfully managed the Hard Hat Lounge at 1675 Industrial Road for the past two years. The club, located under a vintage-Vegas neon sign, is celebrating its second anniversary under Sidoris’ ownership with a special event on Friday at 8 p.m. The celebration will feature live bands, a photo booth, and delicious food from Stay Tuned Burgers, among other activities. The party is expected to last until late, promising a night of fun and entertainment.
Last year, the club’s reopening/first-year anniversary saw a surprise performance by Slash, who joined Sidoris and fellow rocker Franky Perez on stage. This year, Sidoris is focusing on engaging with the local community by featuring local vendors and a jazz band as part of the celebration. The lineup includes bands like Same Sex Mary, Cairo Knife Fight with George Pajon from the Black Eyed Peas, and Soft Echo, a group that has collaborated with The Killers in the past.
Sidoris comes from a family deeply rooted in the entertainment industry, with his mother, Angela Stabile, being an original cast member of “Crazy Girls.” His sister, Tiffany Stabile, is a co-producer for Stabile Productions, known for shows like “X Burlesque” and “Piff the Magic Dragon.” Sidoris’ father, Frank Sidoris, works at Resorts World casino. The Hard Hat Lounge has undergone significant renovations since Sidoris took over in August 2020, attracting both locals and visitors to the iconic Vegas establishment.
Despite the success of Hard Hat Lounge, Sidoris is focused on preserving the bar’s unique charm and history rather than expanding into a chain of similar venues. He values the sense of community and camaraderie that the lounge provides, attracting a diverse crowd of food and beverage industry professionals as well as music enthusiasts. Sidoris also balances his responsibilities at the bar with his music career, touring with bands like Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators and Mammoth WVH.
In addition to his work at Hard Hat Lounge, Sidoris is involved in a music project with Slash, recording songs for an upcoming album titled “World On Fire.” The producer, Michael “Elvis” Baskett, has an impressive background working with renowned rock musicians. Sidoris finds joy in both performing on a global stage and hosting intimate gatherings at his Vegas tavern, creating a unique experience for patrons.
As a music enthusiast, you can also enjoy live performances by talented musicians like Dan Ellis, Steven Lee, and John Belzaguy at Treasure Island’s Breeze Bar on Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This exciting opportunity offers great music, free parking, and no cover charge, making it a must-visit destination for music lovers in Las Vegas.
