The Bareback Riding category saw Dean Thompson clinch the top spot with an impressive 88 points on Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Priefert’s Dusty Roads, earning him $33,687. Rocker Steiner closely followed with 87.5 points, securing $26,624, while Bradlee Miller took the third spot with 87 points and $20,104.

In the race for the average leaders, Cole Franks stood tall with 682 points on eight head, closely trailed by Dean Thompson with 680.5 points and Keenan Hayes with 679 points.

When asked about his performance, Dean Thompson shared a personal anecdote about his journey to the National Finals Rodeo. “Growing up on a ranch, rodeo has always been a part of my life. To compete at this level is a dream come true, and I am grateful for the support of my family and fans,” Thompson expressed with a smile.

Steer Wrestling

Ty Erickson dominated the Steer Wrestling category with a lightning-fast time of 3.6 seconds, earning him $33,687. The competition was fierce, with J.D. Struxness, Cash Robb, and Scott Guenthner tying for the second spot with a time of 3.9 seconds each.

In the World Standings, Dakota Eldridge emerged as the leader with $264,434, showcasing exceptional skill and consistency throughout the season.

Team Roping

Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira stole the show in the Team Roping category with a swift time of 3.4 seconds, securing $33,687. The crowd was on the edge of their seats as the duo displayed unparalleled teamwork and precision in their performance.
