One remarkable story features Justin Holman from Boulder City High School. While out riding his mini bike in the desert, Justin witnessed a fellow rider named Jesse Lopez crash and sustain serious injuries. Justin quickly sprang into action, assisting Jesse and getting him the medical help he needed. Justin’s quick thinking and selflessness saved Jesse from further harm, showcasing his heroism at such a young age.
Another inspiring tale comes from Ryan Arcana and Thalia Huygens, students at Bishop Gorman High School. Together, they led a fundraising campaign that raised an impressive $378,000 to support cancer patients through the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Their dedication and hard work made a significant impact on the lives of those battling cancer, showing the power of young individuals coming together for a cause.
Grace Netski from Faith Lutheran High School is recognized for her work in suicide prevention awareness through Hope Means Nevada.
