The International Circus Festival of Las Vegas is set to take place for the first time in the city, thanks to sixth-generation circus performer Renato Fernandes. Performers from 11 different countries will showcase their talents and compete for awards, cash prizes, and contracts with major production companies like Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey.

The festival will run over two weekends, from Friday, Nov. 1, to Sunday, Nov. 3, and then from Thursday, Nov. 7, to Sunday, Nov. 10, at the Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet in Las Vegas. Each night will kick off at 7 p.m., except for Sunday, Nov. 3, when the event starts at 4 p.m.

Audience members can expect to see a wide range of thrilling acts, including hand balancing, contortion, aerial stunts, Chinese pole, juggling, flying trapeze, and unicycling, among others. They will also have the chance to vote for their favorite act via a QR code, with the performer receiving the most votes winning the Public’s Choice Award during the Gala Show on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 8 p.m.

The competition will intensify during the second weekend, with two winners being selected each night from Thursday, Nov. 7, to Sunday, Nov. 10, based on performances from the opening weekend. A panel of experts from the circus industry and live event production will evaluate the acts, providing emerging talent with the opportunity to be discovered and potentially contracted.

Tickets for the festival start at $39 per person and can be purchased on the festival’s website, which also includes a full event schedule. The International Circus Festival of Las Vegas promises to be an immersive and competitive experience for both performers and audiences alike.

Founded by Renato Fernandes, the festival aims to celebrate the extraordinary talents of circus performers from around the world. With a focus on world-class artistry and mystifying acts, the event is a unique opportunity for performers to showcase their skills and compete for top honors and industry recognition.
