Spooky Halloween Extravaganza at The District, Green Valley Ranch
The District at Green Valley Ranch is gearing up for a spooktacular Halloween event that promises to be a frightfully good time for the whole family. Dubbed as the “Monster Mash on Main,” this event is set to take place on October 31 from 4-7 p.m. Guests can expect an evening filled with Halloween fun and excitement as they encounter roaming Halloween characters such as Mr. and Mrs. Dracula, Mr. and Mrs. Frankenstein, a mummy, and a werewolf.
One of the highlights of the evening will be the opportunity for children to trick-or-treat at participating tenants at The District. Market in The Alley will also be offering a variety of unique treats, crafts, and Halloween-themed merchandise for guests to enjoy. Additionally, there will be a costume contest with categories for babies to three years old, four to seven years old, and eight to 10 years old, with prizes awarded to winners in each group.
To add to the spooky ambiance, fog machines will be in full effect, ensuring that attendees have a truly spooktacular experience. Families are encouraged to come dressed in their best costumes and join in the festivities for a night of Halloween fun like no other.
Halloween Movie Nights Under the Stars
In addition to the “Monster Mash on Main” event, The District will also be hosting complimentary Halloween-themed family movies every Saturday in October at sunset on The Green, located on Village Walk Drive adjacent to Whole Foods. Seating is first come, first served, starting at 6 p.m., so guests are encouraged to arrive early with their chairs and blankets to secure a good spot.
Each movie night will also feature partnerships with nonprofit organizations, including Homeward Bound Cats, Heaven Can Wait Animal Society, and Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth. Representatives from these organizations will be on hand to share information about their missions and programs, giving attendees the opportunity to learn more about how they can support these important causes.
The Halloween movie lineup includes some beloved classics such as “Halloweentown,” “Hocus Pocus,” and viewer’s choice between “Nightmare Before Christmas” or “Corpse Bride.” The final movie night will feature viewer’s choice between “Hotel Transylvania” or “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” giving guests the chance to vote for their favorite Halloween flick.
